Hope and Homes for Children gives hope to the poorest children in the world – those who are orphaned, abandoned or vulnerable – by enabling them to grow up within the love of a family and the security of a home, so that they can fulfil their potential. Hope and Homes for Children works in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Africa. In CEE they close institutions by moving children into family-based care and set up alternative services, including those that help prevent child abandonment. In Africa ,Ukraine ,Moldova, they provide a vital lifeline for families at risk of breakdown due to the pressures of poverty, disease and conflict. They believe that, above all else, every child should live within a caring family environment.
